Save the world?! what an original idea! - Men in Black II Reviews

The story here isn't nearly as original as the first movie. As a matter fact...it sucks. And Will Smith is in his usual roll as the Omega. And, of course, he falls in love with the pretty girl with no real personallity(who's just essential in these movies now, isn't she?). Of the two, Tommy Lee Jones, in my opinion is the better actor.It also turns Frank(the pug-dog) into a trite gemmick, though a funny one, a trite one none the less. Little effort to create a good villian. So to sum it all up, I suppose I'll say, Jay goes to retrieve Kay, and they look for 'the light', who happens to be a pretty girl. The rest just writes itself, huh? If you're looking for a clever sci-fi film like "Men In Black" don't watch "Men In Black II".
